stayed in Didcot before but Southernwood - Garden Lodge 8 was even better! Spacious and comfy with all the amenities we needed. Loved the private courtyard and convenient location near the train station and great pubs. Friendly owner and staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

The one-bedroom apartment at Southernwood - Garden Lodge 8 was cozy and felt like a home away from home. Having a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and microwave made it easy to prepare meals and enjoy them at our own pace. The free WiFi was a great bonus, allowing us to stay connected during our stay. We also appreciated the free private parking, which made it convenient to explore the surrounding area.

Personally, I found the lack of a stovetop in the apartment to be a bit of a drawback. However, I understand that others may not mind this and can still enjoy their stay.

Well kitted out and the shower was warm. However these are cabins with thin walls and so if you want to sleep you have to hope for considerate neighbours.

Beds so comfy! Great use of space, much bigger than expected. Quick to heat up with radiators. Two windows and a door provided great ventilation. Porch was perfect for enjoying the sun or rain. Park right across the road was a lovely view. Host Kev was super helpful and friendly. Tea, coffee, towels, and bedding provided. Near train station and nice pub/restaurants.

Pillows and mattresses need replacing ASAP for a more comfortable sleep. No designated area to dispose of cigarette butts.
